Before Covid-19 was declared a pandemic, ATMI producer Ryan Danigole’s father got a job out of state and the whole family was set to move to Albany, New York. Now that we are in the midst of a pandemic, the Danigole family is still planning to move this summer.
While the Alaska Teen Media Institute studio is closed amid the Covid-19 pandemic, staff and youth producers are working from home to continue to bring youth stories to the public.

ATMI worked with youth organizers and attendees at the Lead On! For Peace and Equality conference to come up with a concept for a healthy relationships campaign. The project was a partnership with the Alaska Network on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault as part of Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month.
