PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES

You can help ATMI provide Anchorage youth with:

• An outlet for their own original journalism and media productions through our radio shows, podcasts, film screenings, website and social media.
• Use of our production & recording studio in Anchorage.
• Access to news literacy and media ethics training.
• Training in the best practices for media production.
• Freelance work opportunities through collaborations with local businesses, government agencies and non-profits.
• Feedback and support for their personal and school media projects.

EDUCATION FUND

We also raise funds to participate in local and national conferences. Some of the most inspiring and exciting opportunities for us:

• The Alaska Press Club conference takes place each spring in Anchorage. Local and national journalism professionals come to Anchorage for a weekend of workshops, critiques and networking!
• The Third Coast International Audio Festival where students have the opportunity to learn from the very best radio storytellers out there.
• NFFTY conferences and programs celebrate the extraordinary talent of young people and the compelling stories they tell.
