Join our community workshop led by a professional filmmaker! Attendees will practice basic videography skills while exploring Anchorage trails and gain expertise in footage sharing and archiving. No experience needed!!

Video Basics and Video Walk (1-4 p.m.)
Meet at The Stoop for a workshop on videography skills and then head over to Westchester Lagoon for filming.
October 20
Footage Sharing and Archiving (5 -6:30 p.m.)
Meet at the Alaska Teen Media Institute studio to review footage. Pizza and salad provided.
Mentor Spotlight
Steven Cornfield is an Emmy Award-winning filmmaker known for visually engaging stories. He began his career in design and music, transitioning to filmmaking in 2014. He developed his skills through weekly YouTube vlogs before advancing to professional projects for brands and businesses.
